Alta Vida Wellness is a Bronx-based nonprofit collective dedicated to providing accessible, culturally responsive mental health and wellness services. We are rooted in the belief that every individual, regardless of background, immigration status, or income, deserves access to compassionate, high-quality care. Our services include therapy, psychiatric support, community-based wellness programs, and culturally aligned care for BIPOC and immigrant families.
Alta Vida was founded to respond to the unmet mental health needs of underserved Bronx communities, particularly those navigating intergenerational trauma, systemic inequities, and cultural stigmas around seeking support. As clinicians, organizers, and advocates, we saw how families were falling through the cracks. Alta Vida was born out of a vision to build a healing space rooted in cultural pride, community resilience, and long-term mental wellness.
Our approach centers on cultural humility, trauma-informed care, and community trust. We offer personalized, accessible mental health support, both in-person and online, designed to meet the unique needs of individuals and families in the Bronx and beyond.
